Warmwaterberg Spa is a hot mineral spring situated between Barrydale and Ladismith on the R62 from Cape Town to Oudtshoorn. The spa offers self catering accommodation in old farm house buildings dating back to the 19th century, timber chalets sleeping 4 – 8 persons and some parked caravans. The kiosk is stocked with basic provisions and the bottle store stocks local wines.

The Lapa has a restaurant offering country fare and a bar. There are three outdoor pools, two hot and one cold. The temperature in the pools varies from 25 to 42 degrees C.

For those who would like to explore the vast outdoors, there is a hiking trail on the property as well as drives to nearby mountains and town. Here we offer you country hospitality at a slow pace, tranquility, wide open spaces and steaming hot water to restore body, mind and soul.

The Main House

This Victorian style building was built in 1908 as a sanatorium to use the healing powers of the hot water in the sunken Roman baths.

Now it is a self catering guest house. It consists of 5 units, each with its own kitchenette and Roman bath.

These baths are not en-suite and the toilets are shared by all the guests.

Units can accommodate from two to four persons per unit, twenty in total sharing, or groups wishing to utilize the whole house.

The Conference Centre

We offer conference facilities for groups of +/- 50 persons in a Rustic Stone building dating back to 1916 as well as in the Lapa.

The Lapa

The old farm dam fell in disuse and became an eyesore. This has now been turned into a Lapa with a shop / kiosk, a restaurant and a bar. A large reed covered deck offers fantastic panoramic vies of five mountain ranges.

It is suitable for functions such as weddings, birthday parties, spit braais, get togethers, small conferences, workshops etc. Let the restaurant treat you to some home made country cooking and special Sunday lunches.
