On the outskirts of Greater Johannesburg ? 30 minutes from the old city Centre and on the Klein Jukskei River, stands this prominent four-storied Castle on 5 Ha (12 acres). The main building is of late 17th Century architectural style. We are located in tranquil Chartwell West, yet close to the main roads, shopping malls (Fourways Mall, Fourways Crossing, Broadacres Garden Centre, Cedar Square), Monte Casino, The Lion Park, Lanseria Airport, and the brand new Fourways Hospital. Our guest house is very spacious and peaceful, with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. We have the biggest known uninterrupted hedgerow maze in the Southern world (and the third biggest in the world), boasting more than 900 conifers. It covers about 6000 sq.m. (approximately 1.5 acres), which is about 5 times bigger than The Hampton Court Maze. We have five suites with private bathrooms and under-floor heating, sleeping a total of 13 guests. They are all bright and spacious, with traditional country d?cor. We also have four charming river cottages, sleeping a total of 12 guests. Breakfast is served between 7:00 and 9:00 am, but if you wish to eat earlier, please let us know. We wish you a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!
